What exactly is kunstmaler.online?
kunstmaler.online is the portal of contemporary painters - an art portal and social network for artists. We give painters, regardless of whether they are academics, self-taught or hobby painters, the opportunity to register and present their artworks. The portal works as a social network where all your data and images are located and you can use it as your own "website".
What kind of art can I find here?
Contemporary painting in all techniques: acrylic paintings, oil paintings, watercolor, abstract art, figurative art, portraits, landscape painting, animal painting, mixed media, rust painting, intuitive process painting and modern art.
How are you different from Artsper, ArtMajeur or Rise Art?
We are not a purely commercial marketplace with 30-50% commission. Presentation is our focus. We do not handle direct sales ourselves; instead, interested parties have the opportunity to contact the painters directly on this site - with no detour, no gallery markup. You buy directly from the artist.
Our motto: Enjoy the artworks of our painters and share this joy with others.
2. For Artists - Sign Up & Present
How can I register as a painter?
Via the "Register" button on the homepage. You're in in 2 minutes: name, email, password - done. After that you can immediately upload your biography and images.
What does registration really cost?
0 Euro. Permanently free. Registration and uploading your paintings is free with us, now and it shall always remain so! No premium subscriptions, no hidden fees.

Can I join as a hobby painter?
Yes, explicitly. Whether academic, self-taught or hobby painter - everyone who paints is welcome. From Sömmerda to Landau, from Hamburg to Munich.
How do I create a professional biography?
Take successful profiles as an example: Year of birth, "Intensive painting since 2001", exhibitions in Sömmerda, Schloß Ba Lobenstein, Wechmar etc., relocation, group exhibitions Villa Streccius, Kunstgilde Bad Bergzabern, own studio in Mörzheim/Landau. The more info, the better you rank on Google.
3. Selling Art - How it works
How do I sell my art via kunstmaler.online?
The portal itself does not handle sales. That's your advantage: You are contacted directly by the buyer and arrange price, shipping and payment yourself. How it works:
- 1. Register - create free profile
- 2. Log in and share - share profile and images via Facebook/Messenger, Viber, Email, WhatsApp, Twitter or Pinterest
- 3. Get contacted - interested buyers write to you directly
- 4. Sell directly - 100% of the sales price for you
Can I also offer commissioned work?
Yes, very popular! Offer on your profile: portrait painting, pet portraits, abstract paintings custom-made in desired size and color for living rooms, offices and practices.
4. For Buyers & Collectors - Buy Contemporary Art
Where can I buy original art online?
Right here. You will find hundreds of artists and can buy original paintings - without gallery commission. Whether acrylic painting for the living room, oil painting for the office or abstract painting for the practice.
How do I contact a painter?
On each image page you see the provider (e.g. Member since 03/2019). Click on the name and you get to the profile with contact button and email.
How much does a painting cost?
Prices are set by each artist individually. You will find works from €50 for small watercolors to several thousand euros for large acrylic or oil paintings. Direct negotiation is possible.
Is every picture unique?
Yes. All presented works are hand-painted originals - no posters or prints, unless otherwise marked. With the artist's personal signature.
Can I find painters near me?
Yes. Many artists have listed their studio. You can search by city and even pick up your painting personally in the studio, e.g. in Landau/Rheinland-Pfalz, Bad Bergzabern, Hamburg or Berlin.
5. Shipping, Payment & Handling
Processing is done directly with the artist. Standard information provided by artists:

Security: Since the purchase is made directly with the artist, their terms and conditions apply. We recommend insured shipping and PayPal buyer protection.
Is there a right of withdrawal?
The purchase contract is concluded directly between buyer and artist. Therefore the withdrawal and terms of the respective artist apply. For private purchases, the statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days applies, unless the artist regulates it differently.

How will I be found on Google as an artist?
Each artist profile is its own indexable page. If someone searches for "painter + your name", "buy acrylic paintings [your city]" or "artist from Rheinland-Pfalz", your profile ranks. Use keywords like acrylic painting, oil painting, abstract art in your biography.
How do I increase my reach?
- Use share buttons: Facebook, WhatsApp, Pinterest, Email
- Use partner link: You get it automatically after registration
- Upload regularly: Google loves fresh content
- Keywords in title: e.g. "Abstract acrylic painting - Sunset 80x100cm"

7. Legal & Contact
How is my data protected?
We process inventory data (name, address), content data (texts, photographs), contact data and payment data only for contract processing. Disclosure only to shipping service providers and payment providers as necessary. More in the privacy policy.
How do I delete my profile?
Anytime via email to kontakt@kunstmaler.online. Your customer account is not public and cannot be indexed by search engines if you delete it. Deletion up to account deletion + 30 days, unless retention obligations prevent it.
